Our milling services include plywood ripping, cross-cutting and re-sawing. Our re-saw can mill 2x4s up to 6x12s and can texture, centerline, and chamfer. Call customer service for details and pricing on our cutting and milling services.

Another service at Mead Clark is our cut lumber packages. Because we are determined to make your building or remodeling job easier and more efficient, we provide cut house packages of everything you would need to frame a house including headers, cripples, and jacks. You can be certain when the lumber load arrives at the jobsite, it's stacked in the order you need to build. You won't find the roof sheathing stacked on top of the framing lumber. Our skilled load builders know when each product is used and they build the loads accordingly.

forklift truck

We’ve added an additional piggyback lift truck to our fleet. The forklift helps to make urban jobsite deliveries more efficient.

Delivery

Delivery

At Mead Clark Lumber we offer a fleet of trucks ready to deliver products to your site seven days a week. Our team will find out everything they can about the location of the delivery, like landmarks, cross streets, posting signs and more to ensure that your delivery arrives on time at the correct destination. Plus, our trucks are outfitted with GPS tracking devices so that we can see exactly where the trucks are located when they are on route.

"We work closely with our customers to make deliveries happen as smoothly as possible," said Operations Manager Tim Goodrich. "A lot delivery sites aren't located right off the highway – they're in harder to find places, off the beaten track. If it’s a new construction site without address markers we ask our customers to post a visible sign with the street number at the entry.  We prefer to have a contact person at the delivery site to direct the driver to the offloading location, but if that is not possible, we ask for a large X marker to show us where you would like the load dumped.  We've delivered throughout Northern California to the East Bay and all the way to Tahoe. We're very good at getting your delivery exactly where it's supposed to go at they time it's supposed to be there so you don't have to worry."

In addition to great service and on-time delivery six days a week, Mead Clark now offers a piggyback lift on three trucks. It's perfect for customers who want us to unload lumber, sheetrock and cement as gently as possible, it's available on a first-come, first served basis.

"Making sure our delivery service is professional, timely and courteous is something Mead Clark takes pride in," Tim continued. "And the added bonus is that our delivery charges are one of the lowest in Sonoma County.”
